Fast and the Furriest,
Saturday, April 19th
The Dog Club is a sponsor of this event which is a 5K/1K run-walk with pets.
It benefits the Companion Care Fund which offers financial assistance to
clients of CSU's Vet Medical Center who have an animal in need of emergency
or immediate life-saving care. Without this fund, many clients would be faced
with the difficult choice of declining care for their animal or relinquishing
ownership. Over 475 runners attended last year's event. Stop by The Dog Club's
booth and register to win free services. The event is held at CSU Vet Medical Center.
Meet the Staff: Shelley Tuttle

Shelley is 23 years old and has been working at The Dog Club
for just a few months. She was born in Sacramento, CA and has
lived in Colorado for 5 years. She has travelled quite a bit
and has lived in France, Costa Rica and Spain. She is very active
and likes to ski, hike and play baseball. Prior to coming to
The Dog Club she volunteered at Animal House, a local no-kill
shelter. She cleaned kennels, followed up on adoption calls,
fed, walked and cared for the animals there. She has one dog,
Teddy an Aussie mix. She is wonderful with the dogs and thinks
daycare is a great job because it's like she owns lots of dogs,
not just one.
Grooming:
Now that spring is here, your dogs are starting to shed and are
in need of baths and grooming. Linda Uchytil is our groomer and
is available on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. She books up days
in advanced, so please make your appointments early. Baths and
brushouts can be done by the daycare staff, but advanced notice
is greatly appreciated.
